Needle-punching – lots of fun for everyone
Working with the coloring pages and needle-punch patterns helps children practice manual skills and extend their attention span.
Paint the motifs first, then do the needlework. You or your child will need a special needle for needle-punching (available in any handicrafts shop) and a thick rubber or felt mat.
The dotted line is perforated dot by dot with the needle. Then the entire motif can be carefully lifted away from the paper. It’s best to use good, strong paper for this.
Show your child exactly how this is done and make sure he or she uses the needle with appropriate care.
