1961

The German entrepreneur Grete Schickedanz* introduces the first German trapeze-style nappy to the market under the MOLTEX label
(*Grete Schickedanz [née Grete Lachner in Fürth on 20 October 1911; died in Fürth on 23 July 1994] was a German businesswoman. She served as managing director of the Quelle mail-order company until 1983.)

1969

The MOLTEX non-woven nappy with soft embossed ends is introduced as an innovation.

1973

The MOLTEX Combinette is introduced as an innovative panty nappy.

1975

The MOLTEX Combinette is marketed as an all-night nappy.

1977

A nappy for newborns and infants is added to the MOLTEX Combinette program.

1983

MOLTEX nappies are upgraded with the addition of a legband.

1985

The first fragrance-free MOLTEX nappy is introduced.

1987

MOLTEX is marketed as a “skin-protection nappy”.
